Odor Characteristic: A 10-15% part of aceteugenol is partly responsible for the characteristic odor of clove bud essential oil. The essential oil smells very strongly like the fresh or dried buds, somewhat subdued and sweetened. Qualities spicy-warm, creamy-buttery, sweet-fruity. Drydown is sweet, creamy, rounded, full bodied with penetrating spiciness.

Specific Gravity: 1.03800 to 1.06000 @ 25.00 °C.
